Puppies - Lija Spanish Water Dogs, LLC

Our puppies come from strong working bloodlines with sound health and temperaments. They leave us with health certificates, pedigrees, first shots and worming as well as copies of the sire's and dam's health testing results. Pet-companion dogs are sold on spay-neuter agreement - American Kennel Club registration papers for limited breeding. Show-breeding dogs are sold on a co-ownership or terms. All of our dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club, and if imported, registered with their country of origin.

We follow The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviors recommendations regarding puppies. Puppies should/can be socialized before their full vaccinations starting as early as 7-8 weeks of age. Puppies are placed in their homes at 8-weeks of age. This allows for the first vaccinations/wormings and for us to START the socialization process which you, as the owner, must continue in your home.

Please note, we DO NOT SHIP puppies. Puppies must be picked up IN PERSON by their new owners. We do not assume any responsibility or costs associated with transporting your puppy home. All travel arrangements and compliance with airline pet travel regulations is the responsibility of the new owner.

Reservations on our LIJA Spanish Water Dogs are accepted from approved homes. Our next availability of puppies will be 2023.

Otto x Chari - due in May! This breeding produced our Kalen. Kalen is major pointed with limited showing. An exquisite male who has stolen my heart! An Otto son is being shown and winning in Peru - and our co-owner Liz Gaulke is running through the alphabets with her Otto son: Three AKC titles: Trick Dog Advanced and 2 lure coursing titles Bcat and Dcat. One UKC weight Pull title: UWP. Two World Wide Weight Pull Organization (W3PO) titles: Weight Pull Dog Superior Rails WPDSR and Weight Pull Dog Superior Wheels WPDSW. AND, in 2024 he has earned 2 titles so far. AKC: Fetch Novice FTN. W3PO: Weight Pull Dog Excellent Snow WPDXS. Put all that alphabet soup together, and you get: UWP Lija's Holy Toledo TKA, DCAT, FTI, TKN, WPDSR, WPDSW, WPDXS. Not too shabby considering he just turned 2 the end of September. Quita co-owned with Deborah Wurster has been blazing it up in Fastcats!

Deposits are required to hold/reserve a pup and non-refundable if you just decide to change your mind. Deposits are refundable if no pups result from that breeding.
